Pre-Treatment

Pre-Facial Services

To prepare for a facial, cleanse your face thoroughly and arrive bare-faced to allow the esthetician to assess your skin. In the days leading up to your appointment, avoid sun exposure, harsh exfoliation, and strong active ingredients like retinol to prevent irritation. You should also stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and communicating your skin concerns, goals, and any medications to your esthetician during the consultation.

The Week Before

  • Avoid strong skincare products: like retinol, chemical exfoliants, or strong enzyme treatments. 
  • Stay out of the sun: and avoid any tanning, as sunburnt or tanned skin can be very sensitive.

The Day Before

  • Drink plenty of water: to ensure your skin is well-hydrated from the inside out, which helps the facial products absorb bette.
  • Avoid spicy foods, alcohol, and caffeine, as these can lead to inflammation or redness.

The Day Of

  • Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face: to allow the esthetician to see and treat your skin effectively.
  • Wear comfortable clothing: that's easy to change out of, as you may need to change into a spa robe. 
  • Bring a list of your medications, medical conditions, and skincare products: to discuss with your esthetician, ensuring they can tailor the treatment to your needs and avoid potential interactions.
  • Communicate your skin concerns and goals: with the esthetician during the initial consultation so they can create a customized treatment plan. 

Pre-PMU services

  •  HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT 

• Do not consume alcohol, caffeine, fish oils, or nicotine for at least 24 hours before your procedure. It is very important because Consumption of these items can cause excessive bleeding, interrupt your skin’s healing process, and create increased sensitivity, excessive bleeding. You will not only bleed but also reject the pigment, palso cause poor retention and patchy healing!!!!

• Please Do not plan anything too closely after your appointment because some skin type may need longer time to work on so that we are not rush. 

• If you are required to take antibiotics before dental procedures, please follow the same instructions from your doctor before your procedure.

• If you are on blood thinners, check with your doctor to make sure you can go 24 hours without them. To be safe, it is advised to not taking blood thinners for at least 1 week prior to your appointment. You can take them right after finish the procedure 

• For lips service, please start applying thick layer of lips moisturizer (Vaseline or Aquaphor) at least 5 days before appointment day for less painful and best results. Dry lips will be sending home because I won’t be able to do my work. 

Make sure that you are not on period day, if so pls let me know so we can reschedule you to another day. 

There is 2 hours maximum street parking, if you are coming for PMU services I recommend to park at  public parking https://

Pre-lamination and Tinting services

To prepare for a brow lamination appointment, ensure your brows are free of makeup, moisturizers, and oils on the day of, and avoid tweezing, waxing, threading, or trimming for several weeks beforehand. You should also avoid using retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or strong exfoliants on the brow area for 3-7 days prior, and refrain from getting a sunburn or other skin irritants on your face. Inform your brow artist of any skin sensitivities or allergies before the appointment.  

In the Weeks Leading Up to Your Appointment

  • Let them grow: Avoid any brow hair removal, including tweezing, waxing, threading, or trimming, for several weeks to give your brow technician the most hair to work with for the best result.
  • Avoid harsh skincare: Stop using retinoids, retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or other exfoliating products on your face, especially in the brow area, for at least 3-7 days before your appointment.
  • Avoid sun exposure: Refrain from tanning beds and prevent sunburn in the brow area to avoid increased skin sensitivity.
  • Consult your artist: Discuss any allergies, skin sensitivities, or previous skin treatments with your brow artist. For first-time lamination or sensitive skin, a patch test may be recommended.

On the Day of Your Appointment

  • Go makeup-free: Arrive with a clean face and clean, dry brows, free of all makeup, moisturizers, serums, and oils.
  • Hold off on treatments: Avoid other skin treatments like chemical peels or facials for at least 24-48 hours before your appointment to prevent irritation.
  • Avoid intense activities: Don't engage in heavy workouts that cause you to sweat profusely on the day of your appointment.
